Just a couple of days left now before I start my new role and I continue to make the most of this free time by discovering the life essentials in this area. Today I found this shop near Evesham, thankfully, as it means my love of crochet and cake can both be satisfied in one place. This is a lovely craft/wool shop with tea shop attached serving glorious gluten free cakes. Heaven must be a bit like this methinks.
So I’ve been reacquainting myself with the area in this last week before I officially start my new role on 1st September. Loving these cars at a vintage car rally in Gloucester city centre. My personal favourite is the 2CV6 I used to drive those….best cars ever!
So this is a blog about Methodist ministry in North Gloucestershire, in the churches of Apperly Hartpury, Newent, Tibberton and Tewkesbury . I will be taking up my new post here on 1st September and looking forward to the welcome welcome service which will be on 3rd September at St John’s Methodist Church, Gloucester.
It is good to be back in Gloucestershire, the county where I first began my journey into ministry almost 20 years ago now. Indeed the old Gloucester circuit is where I trained as a local preacher and began the process of candidating for ministry. I am looking forward to meeting old friends and new in this much enlarged Gloucestershire Circuit and together facing the challenges and sharing the joys of Ministry.
